The Diagnosis of a TBI begins a journey without end.
And this is one journey with an unclear path and few sign posts.
Often the biggest and most significant step, is finding that you are:
    »    not crazy,
    »    not unique or alone,
»    not milingering or in denial, and
»    not without others who can tell you about the journey and make the trip easier.
There will be "professional" guides but the professionals are often uninformed, habitually prescribe protocols, and fail to treat cognitive problems with cognitive solutions. You will find yourself confused, frustrated, lost in a medical Bramuda Triangle, sunk in a beaucratic quagmire, and abandoned or restricted by Insurer's self-interest.
I have been helped by the community, this web site was created and is maintained to return to those before me and to those to come after me a kindness, word, and way that was shown to me when I was lost, confused, and there didn't seem to be anyone to explain it to me.
